Ellie Duncan

Shetlander Ellie Duncan creates wheel-thrown stoneware tableware inspired by the colours, textures and movement of Shetland's coastline. Island Ceramics collections are named using Shetland dialect words connected to the sea, celebrating the islands' culture and heritage while strengthening the connection between each piece and its source of inspiration. Handmade on Shetland's west side, her pottery is glazed to reflect the sea as it meets the shore.
