Bert Simpson

Bert is a true Shetlander, born and bred here, but now lives in Orkney. He studied at both Gray’s and Edinburgh Schools of Art. He started his career as a furniture designer, before becoming a full-time artist, focussing on painting and pottery.

He is an award-winning watercolourist, with works in private collections worldwide. We particularly like his immaculate watercolours of Lerwick landmarks.
