Nicholas Barnham
Nick has been inspired by all things Shetland for more than fifty years, since he came to the north Isles as an art teacher. He studied painting and stone carving at Norwich School of Art and taught at Cambridge School of Art. In 1966 he was the first artist to have a one-man show at the old Museum. He is an excellent landscape artist, but his best loved works are of boats, particularly the Shetland Model boat.
